About

SupportPatreon

Curious Meerkat is a science blog run by Claire Asher, covering topics ranging from medicine to conservation, and from evolution to biotechnology. Here I aim to produce interesting, engaging science content that is accessible but also accurate. This is all available on my site completely free, with the small caveat that I might occasionally make a small amount of money if you click on a sponsored link (which are few and far between). Running Curious Meerkat day date 40 replica takes time and money, so I’d be thrilled if you felt like contributing – you can now support Curious Meerkat from just $1 per month on Patreon.

In addition to writing for Curious Meerkat, I have also written for New Scientist, BBC Earth, ScienceNOW, Nature News, The Scientist, How We Get To Next, and Biosphere Magazine, among others.

I’m also passionate about travel, and I write a travel blog focussed on wildlife and ecotourism, Wild World Travel Blog. While travelling and here in the UK I also enjoy wildlife photography and have an online portfolio and sell some of my prints in a small Etsy shop. I also get involved in public engagement activities and occasionally do science comedy nights, talks and events in the UK. You can find out more about all of this at my main website
